On March 19, 2026, Divine Mercy Nursery & Primary School in Kiko, located along Kamwenge Road in Fort Portal, received a meaningful donation of scholastic materials from Mr. Gilbert Jimmy Kevin Kwizera as part of his ongoing commitment to supporting education and community development.
The contribution included essential learning supplies such as exercise books, pens, pencils, rulers, rubbers, and learning charts—resources that play a critical role in enhancing pupils’ daily classroom experience.
Though he was not present in person, the impact of Mr. Kwizera’s generosity was deeply felt. The pupils received the materials with visible excitement and gratitude, a powerful reminder of how access to basic educational tools can uplift and motivate young learners.
Reflecting on the moment, School Director Rev. Fr. Christopher Mukidi shared, “I was also surprised by how happy the children were. I believe the parents are just as glad.”
For Jimmy Kwizera, initiatives like this reflect a clear and purposeful belief: that access to quality education should never be limited by a lack of basic resources. His approach to giving focuses on practical, high-impact support that directly benefits learners and strengthens the communities around them.
